Community OutReach/Mentoring Program

Our Mission:

Beach City Rocks is the South Bay's only full rock climbing facility located in the city of Hawthorne. We offer memberships, a wide variety of classes for adults and kids, an after-school program, and a very successful youth rock climbing team that competes nationally. Our business is open to the public and is set up to accommodate beginners to advanced climbers. The beauty of rock climbing is that everyone starts off climbing at the same place. It doesn't matter if you are short, tall, skinny, or fat; an adult or child; everyone starts at zero, and from there they learn the art of climbing!

We would like to give back to our community with our BRAND NEW Community Outreach/Mentoring Program. Beach City Rocks is a family enviroment that will provide the students with support, encouragement, resposibility, and will facilitate character building.

Rock climbing is an alternative full-body workout that involves committment and concentration. Indoor climbing is a great way to develop muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, build self esteem, and encourage teamwork.
